Last chance to join the M&IT Awards 2026

The countdown is almost over.

The M&IT Awards 2026 take place this Friday (18 September) at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London - and there’s still time to get your ticket and join hundreds of business events professionals for one of the biggest nights of the year.

Now in their 39th year, the M&IT Awards bring together planners, agencies, venues, destinations and suppliers from across the industry to celebrate the people and organisations making a difference to the business events sector.

And, yes, there will be plenty of opportunities to network, catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and generally put the day job to one side for a few hours.

This year we're excited to have comedian Katherine Ryan on hosting duties, with a champagne reception, three-course dinner, live entertainment, the awards ceremony, an Events R Talented performance and prize draws before the after-party gets under way with a live band and DJ.

The evening will also raise funds for M&IT’s charity partner, Meeting Needs, through its table raffle and silent auction.

With the Awards now just days away, here’s what you need to know.

18:00 – 19:00: Champagne reception
19:00 – 19:20: Opening act and welcome from M&IT and headline sponsor
19:20 – 19:30: Meeting Needs address, table raffle and silent auction
19:30 – 21:00: Three-course dinner, coffee and petit fours
21:00 – 22:05: Awards ceremony, Events R Talented performance and prize draws
22:05: After-party with live band Party Up
01:30: Carriages

Timings are indicative and may be subject to change.

There are also vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, while non-alcoholic drinks will be available on all tables. Guests can also order Thompson & Scott Noughty Sparkling Rosé from the waiting staff during the evening.

Making the night accessible

Accessibility has been a particular focus for this year’s Awards, with arrival and access information published in advance to help guests plan their evening.

Guests requiring accessibility support should enter via the Park Street entrance, where Grosvenor House’s security officers will be on hand to meet guests and carers and escort them to the Great Room via the accessible route.

Access throughout the evening is via a lift, including between the drinks reception on the balcony level and the main floor for dinner, meaning there are no stairs to navigate during the evening.

If you or your guest requires accessibility support, it’s worth letting the M&IT team know in advance so this can be passed on to the venue.
