Opening in July 2019, ICC Wales has drawn inspiration from the world’s most innovative convention centres and will offer unrivalled facilities for up to 5,000 delegates at a time.
Built within stunning woodland, yet only a stone’s throw from the M4, this flagship venue will truly herald the arrival of Wales on the international business visits and events scene.
An £83.7m joint venture between Celtic Manor Resort and Welsh Government, ICC Wales has been designed and built with event organisers in mind and will include:
+ Auditorium with tiered seating for 1,500 with an even split on both levels
+ 4,000 sqm pillar free main hall, flexible and divisible into 6 sections
+ 15 flexible meeting rooms
+ 26,000 sqm of total floor space
+ Generous atrium entrance with 2,500 sqm outdoor plaza
+ Natural daylight in all meeting rooms and the main hall
+ Networking spaces on all levels
+ Dedicated facilities for clients and production teams
+ Direct loading for production and exhibition vehicles
Floor to ceiling meeting room windows and outdoor breakout areas make the most of the stunning natural environment as the new venue fits into a country famed for the warmth of its welcome and hospitality, set against the backdrop of bold and beautiful landscapes.
With the main hall having the capacity to host 2,400 people for a gala dinner in Europe’s largest pillar-free ballroom, ICC Wales will deliver a bold new culinary philosophy… Mind, Body, Soul.
It has never been more important to eat more healthily and ICC Wales will set exciting new standards in outstanding conference catering with nutrition at its core. Feeding a delegate’s mind, body and soul with goodness is crucial to sustaining energy levels, heightening attentiveness and concentration, and ultimately upping productivity right through the day.
We look forward to opening our doors and welcoming the world to Wales.
ICC Wales, leading the way and building brilliance. Let’s go!
